About Us

Our purpose

We see the purpose of the Manilla Anglican Parish as being: to glorify God by sowing and watering Christ-centred gospel seeds; lovingly incorporating God’s people into fellowship; nurturing them in Christ-like maturity; and equipping them for loving ministry and mission.

Meet the Pastor

Rev. Dave Fisher is the Pastor of the Manilla Anglican Parish. He and his wife and their four children have come from a grazing background north-east of Armidale, NSW. After studying at Moore Theological College Sydney, Dave ministered at Moree for a couple of years before settling here in the Parish of Manilla at the end of 2012. Dave is a keen cyclist and runner. Why not come along to meet Dave and his Family and join us for Church on Sunday.

About the Parish

Manilla Anglican Parish is part of the Armidale Anglican Diocese and includes Manilla, Attunga, Somerton & Halls Creek. We are committed to faithful, applied Bible teaching, which has at its heart, the good news of forgiveness of sins through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Whoever puts their trust in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).
