What's On?

'Children's Church' at Manilla Anglican...

An exciting part of the parish activities is the Children 's Church on every Sunday morning during school terms at Manilla Anglican Church. It's for children aged 4-12 and is not only lots of fun, but the kids enjoy learning from the Bible each week.
The kids start in Church with mums and dads at 9am, then after the Children's Bible reading and a couple of songs with the grownups, they head to the hall for 'Children's Church'.  All leaders have completed Safe Ministry training.
In Children's Church, two or more leaders teach them from the Bible utilising craft, rhymes, games and songs. They then rejoin the adults at the end of the service for morning tea and to show us all the great things they have been making.
Why not bring your children along? You can enjoy Church while they enjoy Children's Church!

M.A.C. Youth at Manilla Anglican...

Youth is for kids in years 7-12 (or equivalent) and meets in the church grounds from 5-7pm on Friday afternoons during School terms. Year 6's are also welcome in term 4 each year.  Each week we grapple together with a section of the Bible and think about how it impacts our lives.  Mixed in with that are some great games, friendship & food. We also link into the Youth Muster, Barraba Bash, Future-focused, LiT and other inter-youth events across the Anglican Diocese of Armidale.  Please contact Dave if you'd like to find out more!

Mother's Group...

The mums & bubs, toddlers and pre-schoolers from the church congregations and the wider Manilla community gather at the Manilla Anglican Church grounds on Wednesday mornings during school term.  A great chance the kids to have some fun together, while the mums socialise and encourage one another during a busy stage of life!

Men's Events...

Once a term, the local blokes from both church and the wider community gather at 7:15am on a Saturday morning for a casual hot breakfast, to chat, and to listen to an interesting speaker at the Manilla Services Club BBQ area. Give Dave a call if you're interested in coming along!

There is also a weekly 'Blokes & Bible' gathering on Tuesday evenings during School term.

Each year in March we also take a group to the Men@Glen conference in Glen Innes.

Women's Events...

Once a term the ladies gather for a range of activities including afternoon teas at the Molly May's Cafe, the Equip Women's Hub, the Diocesan Newlife Women's conference and more.  There’s always an interesting speaker, amazing food, and plenty of ladies to chat with.

There is also a weekly women's gathering for Bible reading and prayer.

Other Manilla Anglican Parish Events...

There’s plenty of other things happening in the Parish including weekly Bible Study Groups, Church family picnics, parish dinners, working bees and more.

Feel free to give Dave a call to find out more or come along on any Sunday.
