'Children's Church' at Manilla Anglican...
An exciting part of the parish activities is the Children 's Church on every Sunday morning at Manilla Anglican Church. Its for children aged 3-12yo and its not only lots of fun, the kids are taught some-of the great true stories from the Bible.
The kids start in Church with mums and dads at 9am, and after the Children 's Bible reading and a couple of songs with the grownups, they head to the hall for 'Children 's Church '.
In Children 's Church, two or more leaders teach them from the Bible using craft, rhymes, games and songs. They then rejoin the adults at the end of the service for morning tea and to show us all the great things they have been making.
Why not bring your children along - you can enjoy Church while they enjoy Children 's Church!
Junior Youth at Manilla Anglican
Junior Youth is for kids in years 5-8 and meets from 5-6:30pm on Friday afternoons during School terms. We grapple together with a section of the Bible each week and think about how it impacts our lives. Mixed in with that are some great games and food. Please contact Dave if you'd like to find out more!
Kid's Club at Attunga Anglican Church
Kid's Club at the Attunga Anglican Church happens at the Church Hall at 3:15pm on Monday afternoons during School Term. The kid's enjoy afternoon tea before learning from the Bible using games, craft and songs.
Once a term, the local blokes gather at 7:15am for a hot breakfast, to chat, and to listen to an interesting speaker at the Manilla Servies club BBQ area. Give Dave a call if you 're interested in coming along. Very casual!
Throughout the year the ladies gather for social lunches at the hall, or in the home of one of the families from Church. There’s always an interesting speaker, amazing food, and plenty of ladies to chat with. The ladies also have a book club where a great book is read each term then discussed over a cuppa. Give Dave a call if you would like to find out more.
